The Golden Touch of Midas

Once upon a time, there was a Greek king named Midas. He was very rich and had a lot of gold. Despite his wealth, his true treasure was his daughter, whom he loved very much.

One day, Midas met an angel who needed help. He helped the angel, and in return, she offered to grant him a wish. Midas, wanting even more wealth, wished that everything he touched would turn into gold. The angel granted his wish.

Excited, Midas started touching rocks and plants on his way home, and they all turned into gold. He couldn't wait to see what else he could turn into gold.

When he got home, he was so happy that he hugged his daughter. But to his horror, she turned into a gold statue. Midas was heartbroken. He realized that his wish had turned into a terrible curse.

Filled with regret, Midas asked the angel to take back his wish. The angel, seeing that Midas had learned his lesson, took pity on him and reversed the wish. Everything went back to normal, including his beloved daughter.

From that day on, Midas understood that love and family are more important than gold or riches. He decided to use his wealth to help others and found true happiness in making others happy.

The story of King Midas teaches us that the most valuable things in life are not material possessions but the people we love and care about.
